German ship maker, Lurssen, delivered the
world’s largest yacht, Azzam, on
October 22, 2013. In addition to being the largest yacht in the world, with a
length of 180 meters, it is capable of a top speed of over 30 knots. The new mega-yacht breaks multiple records,
including one in terms of building time: the yacht took less than three years
to be built.
Mario Pedol from Nauta Yachts developed
Azzam’s innovative and timeless design. The renowned French designer, Christophe Leoni, created the yacht’s
interior design, which is described to be both sophisticated and luxurious, in
a turn of the century style.
