Frog Kiss Was The First Nordhavn Ever Built!

When you buy the Frog Kiss you are buying a piece of history! This is the spacious and beautiful yacht that was the first Nordhavn ever built.

FROG KISS is the Nordhavn that started it all! An incredible opportunity to not only own the first Nordhavn ever built, but also to own a piece of history. Nordhavn 4601 has been lovingly cruised and cared for by the current cruising family. They just returned from cruising along the US East Coast, over to Bermuda, across the Atlantic and throughout the Med and FROG KISS performed flawlessly.

The Latest Adventures Of MV Dirona

One great thing about being a member of the Nordhavn family is that there is always someone out there to help you when needed. The owners of MV Dirona actively record their lives on their trawler, and they recently documented helping the owners of Gray Matter. They needed help installing their crane, and their neighbors over at MV Dirona were there every step of the way.

Our next-door neighbors, Mark Mohler and Christine Guo of Nordhavn 62 Gray Matter, recently upgraded their davit to support hydraulic power-rotation. The base came off in two pieces, but is much easier to put back together at the shop. The downside is a heavy assembly: the upgraded base, with the power rotation transmission and motor, weighed just under 500 pounds. They'd need a crane to install their crane.

Three@Sea Adventures

Check out the latest from our family members- the lovely Three@Sea crew- as they travel the world. The last entry highlights their adventure to Juneau on board Three@Sea...

Three days from Ketchikan to Juneau is a pretty aggressive schedule, but I needed to get there over the weekend to accommodate a variety of constraints. As anybody who cruises knows, one of the most dangerous (or at least uncomfortable) things you can do is cruise with a fixed schedule: the weather gods will usually slap you down.
